My Day are excited to announce that our new Staplegrove Hub is open on Bindon Road.
Our Community Involvement:
At the Staplegrove Hub, students get involved with our local community as much as possible. Examples of this include:
Community Volunteer Work
Students enjoy a wide range of volunteer experiences including collecting food from local supermarkets for Taunton Food Bank, recycling for the charity RAFT and helping Taunton’s homeless charity Open Door with food collections and weekly shopping trips. Also each year students collect and deliver donations of toys for the charity Christmas Sparkle.
Community Art Projects
We have been involved in a number of community projects involving Taunton Live, Go Create and The Trash Trail. The students at this hub also head up the annual Umbrella project which decorated by our students and are displayed each year in the Orchard Centre. The art room is perfectly equipped for these projects.
